About Ocean City Arts

Hi, my name is Stacey, and I am the founder of Ocean City Arts. My dream has always been to turn Art into a career path, and this is another stepping stone in the arty direction. My passion is creative teaching, and Art has been the biggest influence in my life to date, so being able to blend these and teach a wide range of artistic skills on a daily basis is incredible.

With a BA (Hons) in Media Makeup, a Master's Degree in Creative Education, and currently working on my Doctorate in Education, I'm thrilled to be able to pass on my creative knowledge and experience and help others with their creative journeys. I have worked on film sets, pirate ships, painted murals for local restaurants, worked with a range of local schools, created logos for local businesses and drawn/painted countless commissioned pieces. Now it's time to help others build on their creative CV's.

My home is Plymouth, the Ocean City, so it made sense to utilise this fantastic place to build this creative community. We are so lucky to live here in the South West with the Moors in one direction and the sea the other, so inspiration is definitely not in short supply.

I have been fortunate enough to be able to host exhibitions and craft fairs in Plymouth to help showcase students' work, which has led to art sales and even more people being interested in Art.
